History

Alcorn County Jail is a historic jail facility located in Corinth, Mississippi, United States. The jail was built in 1908 and served as the main jail for Alcorn County until the mid-1980s. The jail is a three-story brick and stone structure with a basement. The jail has a total of 48 cells, 24 on each side of the building, and a central hallway. Early History

The Alcorn County Jail was built in 1908 to replace an older jail that had become inadequate.
